In no event shall the identity of the informant or any implying information of such person be disclosed without consent of the informant, and any disadvantages that may have incurred upon failure to comply with the foregoing will be subject to restitution and any other equivalent responsibilities.
1. Persons Subject to Protection
Any good-faith informant who made a report based on his/her reasonable belief that the facts are true at the time (including any insider/outsider of company, anonymous informant, a person who sincerely cooperated with investigations regarding the report, hereinafter, the “Protected Person”) is fully protected.
Reports can be made in any format other than this Jeong-do Management hotline, including emails, phone calls, courier, or in-person. However, no protection is provided for any reports filed, knowing that the allegations are false, with intent to mainly harass or defame another person (including organization).
Following will be protected of a Protected Person.
- (1) Identity of the Protected Person
- (2) Evidence or collected information related to the report provided by the Protected Person
- (3) Any matters that may implicate the Protected Person
- (4) Post measures imposed on the results after the report
2. Protection Policy
- ■ Protected Person and details of the report are treated as strictly confidential, and the reporting system is
under protection through a safe security system. In addition, processing of the report is handled by limited
personnel who has pledged to a strict confidentiality compliance with regard to the details of the report. - ■ A Protected Person shall not be subject to any kind of retaliation (dismissal, disciplinary action, unreasonable
personnel transfer, etc.), and if found that any adverse action or harm was made against a Protected Person
due to the reporting or cooperation with investigation, restitution or any other equivalent compensation will
be made. - ■ Necessary measures including disciplinary action will be taken for anyone who has leaked personal information
or any related information of the Protected Person. - ■ When reasonably required, the Company may provide advice or support from experts as per the
Protected Person’s request. - ■ Unless any legitimate rights or interests of the Company are being infringed, Company will inform
the reporting person on the receipt of the report and the processing status within a reasonable period of time. - ■ If a person reports any misconduct, corruption, or compliance violations related to oneself, reasonable leniency
will be considered based on the severity of the act and the level of cooperation.
